How you can help
We are looking for folk with all skill sets from graphic design, research into different development paths, testers, developers (any of: php, mysql, drupal, javascript, html, ajax, java, general UI development), and systems administrators (specifically *NIX with experience with asterisk, openvpn, LAMPP stack, high availability and redundant design). You can check out our current project issue section to get an idea of the issues we are currently working on and seeking help for. Each project may have its own resources for infrastructure management so look for specific sections in the March-Hare Tool Suite section.
There is additionally a mailing list for active discussion about the march-hare development projects. You can subscribe here.
In an effort to garner support from the radical community as a whole, and to help developers feel appreciated. We are asking that individuals that can't contribute to technical aspects of the project help by offering "ransoms" for aspects of the project. We're thinking of it like the gift economy meets free software. For example, maybe you have a bunch of patches lying around and you canned more peaches last summer than you could possibly eat, and maybe you're really into Tapatio having the ability to automatically to have a view of a map showing where communications info is coming from. If this were the case you might consider offering a few cans of peaches and some patches to the developer that completes this feature. If you think you might be willing to offer something in this way, please contact us.
